As a tutor at South West Tuition, you will play a key role in supporting pupils with an EHCP in their academic journey. Working one-to-one or in small groups, you will deliver engaging, bespoke lessons that align with the National Curriculum and meet the individual needs of each learner. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact while benefiting from flexible working arrangements. We also offer opportunities to work during the holidays.
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver one-to-one and small-group tuition sessions

Plan and prepare personalised lessons tailored to the needs and goals of each pupil

Track and report pupil progress, providing regular feedback to parents, schools, and South West Tuition

Create a positive, supportive and engaging learning environment that inspires confidence and motivation

Adhere to safeguarding and confidentiality protocols
Requirements:

Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Experience: Experience teaching or tutoring children with an EHCP/SEND
-
Skills: Strong subject knowledge, excellent communication skills, approachability, ability to build a strong rapport with pupils

Flexibility: Willingness to travel within and around Fleet (if required) and adapt to the needs of individual pupils

Compliance: A valid Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) and adherence to safeguarding guidelines

Internal Exam: To pass a short, online test held by South West Tuition to showcase your strengths
